Independent. tantra.ie is an editorial directory. Listed practitioners are independent — we do not represent or take bookings on their behalf.

Editorial code of ethics

The standards we hold every listing and every editorial page to. Published openly so you can see what makes the cut.

Listing standards

A practitioner is listed on tantra.ie only if they meet all of the following:

  1. Named. Public, traceable name. No pseudonyms-only.
  2. Public business. Own website, school affiliation, or verified Meetup / Eventbrite presence.
  3. Traceable training. A credible school, tradition or teacher lineage stated openly.
  4. Wellness register. The work is framed as bodywork, education, meditation or wellness practice — not as a sexual service in the commercial-escort sense.
  5. Live practice. Active within the last 12 months at the location listed.

Why we don't list adult / escort services

Sites that use "tantra" as a euphemism for commercial sex are a different industry — separately regulated, separately marketed, and not the audience this site is for. Listing them on tantra.ie would (a) confuse readers looking for legitimate bodywork or workshop work and (b) compromise the editorial trust signal that makes the practitioners we do list findable.

Editorial standards

  • Every page is dated with a "last reviewed" stamp.
  • Claims about the tradition are sourced; primary sources are linked where possible.
  • We distinguish clearly between classical tantra (religious tradition) and neo-tantra (modern Western practice). We don't conflate them or claim either is the "real" tantra.
  • We don't make medical or therapy claims. Where the practice touches on areas that need clinical care (trauma, sexual pain, mental health crisis) we signpost to qualified professionals.
  • We have no financial relationship with the practitioners we list. We disclose affiliate relationships where they exist (currently: third-party retreat aggregators on /retreats/).

Corrections and delistings

If you spot an inaccuracy, tell us — we correct quickly. If you are a listed practitioner who would like to be removed, we will delist within 24 hours of a written request from a verifiable contact at the practice. If you wish to raise a concern about a listed practitioner, we read every email; substantiated concerns can lead to delisting.

What we cannot do

We are an editorial directory, not a regulator. Listing here is not an endorsement of any specific session you will receive, and it doesn't make us responsible for the experience you have with a listed practitioner. Use the how to choose guide and do your own vetting alongside.
